Degarmo Technologies LLC (“Degarmo Technologies,” “DT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website (degarmo.tech and related subdomains, the “Site”), how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.

This Policy covers our website. It does not govern the collection, use, or protection of data belonging to our managed-service clients (“Client Data”) — that is addressed separately in the Master Services Agreement, Business Associate Agreement, or other signed contract between Degarmo Technologies and the client, as applicable.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide directly — for example, your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message content when you submit a contact form, request an assessment, register for the Client Portal, or otherwise communicate with us.
  • Information collected automatically — standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps, collected via server logs and analytics/cookie technologies (see Section 3).
  • Information from third parties — for example, if you are referred to us by an existing client or partner, or if you interact with us through a third-party platform (such as LinkedIn, Meta, or Google).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries, quote requests, and assessment requests;
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our website and services;
  • Send requested information, proposals, or, where you have opted in, marketing communications;
  • Understand how visitors use our Site so we can improve content and navigation;
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents, fraud, or misuse of the Site;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as web analytics and, where applicable, advertising pixels) to recognize your browser, understand site usage, and measure the effectiveness of our content and campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (for example, website hosting, email delivery, analytics, and scheduling tools), under obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify;
  • Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, or insurance advisors, where necessary;
  • Law enforcement or regulators where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Degarmo Technologies, our clients, or others;
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same or comparable privacy protections.

5. Data Security

As a cybersecurity company, we take the security of information seriously. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example, tax, accounting, or regulatory recordkeeping requirements applicable to a cybersecurity/compliance business).

7. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided in those emails.

8. Social Media Platform Integrations

Degarmo Technologies operates business accounts on third-party social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and publishes content to them.

To publish to our own accounts, we operate an internal application, ATLAS Automate, registered with Meta Platforms, Inc. That application:

  • Accesses only Degarmo Technologies’ own Facebook Page and linked Instagram business account;
  • Publishes posts to those accounts, and reads the basic engagement metrics for those posts so that we can measure the performance of our own marketing;
  • Does not collect, store, or process personal information belonging to visitors, followers, or other third parties;
  • Is used solely for our own marketing and is not offered to other businesses as a service.

When you interact with us on a social media platform — by following, commenting, reacting, or sending a message — that interaction is collected and governed by the platform under its own privacy policy, not ours. We see only what the platform shows any page owner. If you contact us through a platform and we continue the conversation, any information you give us at that point is handled under this Policy.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are directed to businesses and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
